During the 2011 Egyptian revolution, Amira, an idealistic young woman passionate about the future of her country encounters Ahmed, an out of uniform police officer at the local market. The two begin to argue over the revolution, with neither able to sway the other’s views. As local political passions escalate and activists take to the streets, Ahmed is sent to quite the protestors and Amira is compelled to join the protestors on the streets. Due to passionate ideals, both Amira and Ahmed loose sight of humanity in their quest for a better Egypt.

GIGI IBRAHIM – AMIRA
This is her debut film as she continues her career in Chicago as a actress/model since 2016. Gigi has always felt connected to her Egyptian roots which helped her immensely
getting into the role.
SALAM HEMAEA - AHMED
Sam Han stars in his first debut film as he continues to pursue his dreams of acting.
It was this passion that lead him to immigrate to the United States from Iraq and give
the film authenticity.

Ayesha Aboulezam has directed and written many short films. This includes
“One”(2015), “Love Is A Grey Area” (2016), “Utterance” (2016) She is a
graduate student studying in one of the largest film schools in the entire country.
This film is one of her more personal works.
Producer: Luwen Shao
Luwen Shao came from Shanghai, China. In college, she majors in Broadcasting and Film editing
which allows her to get close to the entertainment industry. When she came to Chicago, she majors in Creative Producing in Columbia College Chicago. As a young producer, she has rich experience as a production assistant in TV series, short films and TV commercials. Hermost recent work from Chicago includes “Hi, Dad” (2016) and “In his face you will see the light” (2016)
Directory of Photography: Zachary Alsen
Zachary Alsen is a Chicago-based cinematographer and gaffer.
He graduated from Columbia College Chicago in May 2016 and is currently a
freelance Director of Photography & Gaffer in the Chicagoland area.
He’s worked on “Hollow” (2016), and “Stardust Motel” (2016).
Production Designer: Andrew Bramson
Originally from the Washington D.C. area Andrew Bramson has worked in film since 2007.
Currently located in the East Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago he splits
his time between his studies at Columbia College Chicago and
working as a freelance creative across the greater Chicagoland area.
While multi-killed his most recent work in production design includes
“Visitor” (2015) and “To those with Good Intent” (2016)
